Global Client Manager

About the role

Maersk is seeking a Global Client Manager to lead the execution of the country’s industry vertical strategy, grow the vertical footprint and manage key accounts across global, regional and local levels. Reporting to the Technology Vertical Lead, the role is responsible for delivering financial results in line with budgets and targets while driving end‑to‑end, value‑added logistics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute client strategy, driving growth of targeted customers within the vertical(s).
• Manage relationships with contractual customers, aligning with Maersk’s global strategy.
• Create global and local value propositions to penetrate new business and increase share of wallet.
• Identify new markets and develop vertical‑specific solutions in collaboration with product and regional functions.
• Lead account business plans covering ocean and logistics services on a global scale.
• Ensure customer satisfaction, onboarding, contract compliance and profitability.

Required profile

• Minimum 8–10 years of business development and key account experience, preferably across multiple logistics products.
• Strong exposure to the Technology vertical in Singapore is preferred.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate complex matrix organisations.
• Financially savvy with strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Self‑driven, able to operate independently in a fast‑paced environment.
