Global Head of Business Operations & Chief of Staff, App Development

About the role

Google is seeking a senior leader to head Business Operations and serve as Chief of Staff for the App Development segment within the Revenue Strategy and Operations (RSO) team. Based in Singapore, you will guide global go‑to‑market strategy, partner with senior stakeholders across AMER, EMEA and APAC, and drive the rapid growth of Google’s app advertising business.

Key responsibilities

• Provide thought‑leadership on cross‑program global projects such as channel management, policy, and sales excellence.
• Guide hypotheses, analyze drivers and root causes, and prioritize high‑impact initiatives.
• Lead and execute the multi‑year GTM strategy for AppDev, expanding top developers while building a broader developer base.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional and regional teams to sustain hyper‑growth of the Apps business.
• Shape and communicate program goals globally, ensuring alignment with Google Customer Solutions sales leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy or corporate advisory roles.
• 4+ years of experience working directly with executive stakeholders.
• Demonstrated people‑management experience.
• Experience in app advertising (preferred).
• Proven ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment and lead projects independently.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear narratives.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
