Global Lead, Urban Communications & Marketing (Buildings + Cities)

About the role

Based in Singapore, the Global Lead, Urban, Communications & Marketing, Buildings + Cities will shape integrated communications and marketing strategies for the global Urban sector, supporting business priorities, market positioning and employee engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead integrated communications and marketing strategies aligned with Urban business priorities and SJ Group brand.
• Act as strategic communications advisor to senior Urban leaders, crafting leadership messaging, external positioning, town halls, presentations and thought leadership.
• Lead communications and marketing for priority Urban initiatives, including campaign planning, awards, and project profiling across sub‑sectors and regions.
• Support internal communications and employee engagement, ensuring clear understanding of sector priorities and leadership messages.
• Manage a small team of communications and marketing professionals, providing direction, prioritisation and coaching.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in communications and marketing within a global or multi‑regional environment.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex sector priorities into compelling narratives for internal and external audiences.
• Strong advisory skills, supporting senior executives with messaging and thought‑leadership.
• Experience managing and developing a small team of communications professionals.
• Excellent stakeholder management across matrixed organisations and regions.
