Graduate Associate – Indirect Tax (GST)

About the role

KPMG Singapore is seeking a Graduate Associate to join its Indirect Tax team. You will support clients in navigating Singapore's Goods and Services Tax (GST) landscape, gaining hands‑on experience with compliance, advisory and filing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform GST health checks on client returns and assess compliance gaps.
• Review, prepare and validate GST return worksheets and final submissions to IRAS.
• Provide advice on GST compliance processes and support consultancy projects.
• Assist clients with GST ruling applications and liaise with IRAS as needed.
• Collaborate with seniors and managers to review GST transactions and ensure legislative compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Economics, Finance, Business or Law.
• Strong academic record and demonstrated co‑curricular achievements.
• Knowledge of Singapore tax legislation is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and communication skills.
