Group Finance Controller – APAC (Medical Device)

About the role

This senior finance position is based at the regional headquarters in Singapore for a multinational medical‑device and renal‑care corporation. The role provides high‑visibility financial leadership across APAC, supporting strategic decision‑making and strengthening financial discipline.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end group consolidation and regional financial reporting, including hands‑on consolidation work and issue resolution.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual management reports for senior management.
• Partner with business division leaders and country finance teams to provide analysis, challenge and financial support.
• Drive regional budgeting, forecasting and KPI monitoring.
• Enforce financial controls, policies and governance across all entities.
• Identify and manage financial, operational and regulatory risks.
• Support due‑diligence, distributor transitions, investments and M&A activities.
• Lead finance process improvements and digitalisation, simplifying reporting and reducing manual work.
• Manage, coach and develop regional finance teams.
• Act as primary liaison with auditors, tax advisors and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or Business with CPA, ACCA or CA qualification.
• 15+ years of experience in group financial consolidation and control within a multinational environment.
• Proven hands‑on ownership of consolidation, reporting and month‑end processes.
• Strong regional leadership with the ability to work at a detailed level.
• Experience in matrix organisations and business partnering.
• Medical‑device or healthcare industry exposure preferred.
• Willingness to work with SAP B1.
