Group Financial Controller – Large Family Office

About the role

This senior position leads the finance function for a multi‑entity family office, partnering with senior leadership on strategy, budgeting and long‑term planning while overseeing cash flow, liquidity and capital allocation across several jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership on group strategy, budgeting, forecasting and long‑term planning.
• Own group cash flow, liquidity, capital allocation and capex planning.
• Oversee group‑wide management reporting, consolidation and preparation of financial statements.
• Manage multi‑entity accounting, intercompany transactions, transfer pricing and tax matters.
• Lead external audits and ensure timely, compliant financial reporting.
• Strengthen governance, internal controls and financial policies across the group.
• Drive process improvements, standardisation and operational efficiency.
• Support strategic initiatives such as investments, divestments and cross‑functional projects.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA/ACCA or equivalent), preferably Big 4 trained.
• More than 15 years of overall finance experience, including senior controllership roles.
• Proven experience operating at a group level with multi‑entity and regional exposure.
• Experience in a PE‑backed, holding‑company or investment‑platform environment is a plus.
• Strong business‑partnering capability with senior stakeholders.
