Group Financial Controller – Singapore

About the role

The Group Financial Controller will lead the finance function for a multi‑entity technology group headquartered in Singapore. Reporting to senior leadership, you will own consolidation, reporting, tax oversight and finance transformation across all business units and geographies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead preparation of consolidated financial statements under IFRS, managing monthly, quarterly and annual close cycles.
• Oversee intercompany transactions, eliminations and coordinate external auditors for statutory audits.
• Design and maintain the Group’s financial governance, internal controls and regulatory compliance framework.
• Provide functional oversight of tax and transfer pricing compliance across jurisdictions.
• Drive finance transformation initiatives, including process automation, reporting efficiency and data quality improvements.
• Lead, mentor and develop a multi‑entity finance team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent; CA/CPA qualification preferred.
• 15 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a group or multi‑entity controllership role.
• Background in a Big 4 or equivalent professional services firm combined with commercial experience; exposure to software or business services is a plus.
• Strong technical accounting expertise in consolidation, M&A accounting and complex IFRS application.
• Proven track record managing external auditors and finalising statutory audits.
• Fluency in English and Chinese.
