About the role
Stripe is seeking a strategic and hands‑on leader to head communications across the Asia‑Pacific region. You will shape and execute the regional narrative, supporting both user growth and Stripe’s business objectives while protecting the company’s reputation.
Key responsibilities
- Define and own the communications strategy for APAC, covering Singapore headquarters, Southeast Asia and India.
- Develop and launch creative, high‑engagement campaigns that strengthen Stripe’s reputation and drive economic growth.
- Partner with Stripe users and ecosystem partners to embed their voices in announcements and media activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with users, influencers, reporters and opinion formers across the region.
- Lead, coach and manage APAC country communications leads in Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Greater China.
Required profile
- 12+ years of experience in corporate communications.
- Exceptional writing ability and proven strategic thinking.
- Deep knowledge of the APAC region, especially Southeast Asia and/or India.
- Strong people‑management and coaching capabilities.
- Experience with issues management and protecting corporate reputation.
