About the role

The Head of Lending Operations APAC will lead the lending operations team within ING Wholesale Banking’s regional hub in Singapore. This senior position is responsible for ensuring flawless execution of loan processes, adherence to regulatory standards, and delivering a best‑in‑class client experience across the Asia‑Pacific region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a high‑performing team, setting clear goals and performance expectations.
• Ensure timely, accurate handling of client requests and continuously improve the end‑to‑end client experience, leveraging NPS insights and data.
• Promote an improvement mindset to enhance client experience, user experience, control frameworks and execution capabilities.
• Foster a safe, collaborative environment that supports talent growth and development.
• Maintain strict compliance with ING policies, procedures and external regulatory requirements.
• Act as a risk champion, embedding a strong risk culture within the team.
• Oversee seamless execution of loan agreements, ensuring legal terms and bank standards are met.
