Head of Operations and Transformation, Logistics

About the role

This greenfield leadership position is responsible for building and leading end‑to‑end warehousing and logistics operations from scratch. You will shape operational strategy, create scalable processes, and drive digital transformation to support rapid business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end logistics from inbound to final delivery, ensuring efficiency, cost control, and compliance.
• Manage international shipments, customs processes, and documentation.
• Establish robust inventory control processes for accuracy, visibility, and on‑time delivery.
• Design and optimise warehouse layout, capacity, and operations for scalable growth.
• Build and lead high‑performing teams with clear KPIs and development plans.
• Manage 3PL partners and vendor performance to meet SLA and service expectations.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Lead cross‑functional initiatives to improve end‑to‑end supply‑chain performance.
• Implement and optimise logistics systems including ERP (SAP), WMS, and Power BI dashboards.
• Champion digital transformation initiatives to enhance visibility, reporting, and decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven leadership in warehousing and logistics operations within complex environments.
• Experience in greenfield setup or large‑scale transformation projects.
• Strong expertise in warehouse design, inventory management, and 3PL governance.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems (SAP), WMS, and analytics tools (Power BI).
• Demonstrated success in Lean Six Sigma or continuous‑improvement initiatives.
