Head of Operations – Derivatives & Project Management

About the role

We are seeking a senior Head of Operations to lead our derivatives operations team within a fast‑growing financial services firm. Reporting to the senior executive team, you will be responsible for overseeing exchange‑related processes, driving project initiatives and delivering system transformations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the operations team handling derivatives exchange activities.
• Drive project management initiatives and oversee implementation of new systems and capabilities.
• Develop and present recommendations to senior management on operational improvements.
• Coordinate system transformation projects and ensure successful delivery.
• Support strategic matters as directed by senior leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 years of operations experience, preferably within a futures exchange or clearing house.
• Hands‑on background in derivatives operations.
• Proven experience leading project management and systems implementation in an operations environment.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and presentation abilities.
• Agile, adaptable and capable of managing teams effectively.
