Head of OTC Derivatives Settlements and Margin Production Support

About the role

Citi is looking for a Head of OTC Derivatives Settlements and Margin Production Support, Senior Vice President, based in Singapore. The role leads a team of professionals responsible for supporting the Markets Operations business through applications support, with strong commercial awareness and the ability to negotiate internally at a senior level.

Key responsibilities

• Manage OTC Derivatives and MONET stakeholders globally, serving the Markets Operations business
• Act as the Asia lead and single escalation point for Markets Operations stakeholders during the Asia time zone
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee all offshore managed services
• Improve service levels for end users by strengthening incident and problem management and knowledge sharing
• Guide development teams on application stability and supportability, and define capacity, throughput and latency management frameworks
• Define application onboarding guidelines and standards, and coach team members
• Drive cost reductions through root cause analysis, knowledge management, performance tuning and user training
• Evaluate subordinate performance and make decisions on pay, hiring, terminations and other personnel actions
• Take part in business review meetings linking technology strategy to business needs, and ensure adherence to support process standards
• Influence and negotiate with senior leaders and manage risk and compliance in line with the firm's policies

Required profile

• 12+ years of relevant experience supporting Capital Markets, Derivatives Settlements and Margining platforms
• Senior to advanced level experience in an Apps Support role with commensurate people management experience
• Proven track record of building a strong global team with a talent pipeline
• Senior stakeholder management and project management experience with demonstrable results
• Bachelor's degree; Master's preferred

• Clear, concise written and verbal communication, including executive communication with stakeholders at MD and D levels
