Head of Solution Architect

About the role

A technology-driven organisation is investing in modernising its technology landscape and strengthening architecture governance. It is looking for a Head of Solution Architect to lead enterprise architecture strategy at executive level and shape cloud, AI and digital transformation initiatives, working directly with senior leadership. The role is based in Singapore and is permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the enterprise and solution architecture roadmap to support business objectives and long-term growth.
• Establish architecture frameworks, standards and governance practices that promote scalability, resilience, security and operational excellence.
• Partner with executives to evaluate emerging technologies and guide technology investment decisions.
• Provide oversight of cloud platforms, enterprise applications, integrations, APIs, data platforms and digital solutions.
• Lead architecture reviews and support major transformation programmes from design through implementation.
• Champion responsible adoption of AI, automation and data-driven technologies.
• Build and mentor an architecture capability and act as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Extensive hands-on experience in software engineering, solution architecture or enterprise architecture.
• More than 5 years of leadership experience managing architecture, engineering or technology teams.
• Proven ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and communicate with technical and business audiences.

• Enterprise-scale solution design, cloud architectures, APIs, distributed systems and platform engineering.
• Architecture governance, standards, operating models and technology controls.
• Cloud platforms, integration frameworks and data ecosystems.
• Security, compliance, risk management and technology governance.
• Experience driving AI, automation and digital transformation initiatives.

What we offer

• Remuneration of SG$16,000 to SG$18,000 per month (SG$192,000 to SG$216,000 per year).
