Health Analytics Specialist

About the role

Prudential is hiring a Health Analytics Specialist to drive health provider network analytics, medical business insights and advanced data modelling. The role uses data to evaluate provider performance, identify trends, support network strategy and enable data-driven decisions across the healthcare value chain.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse provider network performance, healthcare utilisation and medical claims trends.
• Develop reports, dashboards and insights to support network management and contracting decisions.
• Monitor and forecast medical business activities and provider performance.
• Translate complex data into actionable business recommendations and present findings to stakeholders.
• Support business planning, performance reviews and KPI tracking.
• Develop and enhance statistical models for applications such as morbidity, persistency, fraud detection and policyholder behaviour.
• Leverage analytics tools to automate and scale reporting and analysis.
• Partner with Health, PACS and cross-functional teams, and contribute to medical research and strategic initiatives as required.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, insurance analytics or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science or a related quantitative discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication and presentation skills, and the ability to explain complex findings to business audiences.
• Knowledge of insurance, health underwriting, claims and medical business is preferred.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and transformation.
• Statistical modelling tools such as SAS and SPSS.
• Data visualisation tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Databricks is advantageous.
