Hotel Maintenance Technician

About the role

The St. Regis Singapore is seeking a proactive Technician to respond to guest repair requests and maintain the hotel's facilities. The role involves a blend of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and hands‑on repairs across a wide range of systems to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate solutions promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical‑room assets, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Inspect, test, and repair air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and pneumatic/electronic systems.
• Carry out minor carpentry, painting, drywall, and wood‑trim repairs, as well as light‑bulb and filter replacements.
• Program televisions, manage housekeeping‑related inventory, and use the Lockout/Tagout system before any work.
• Maintain landscaping, sprinkler systems, and exterior repairs.
• Document daily activities and hand over information to subsequent shifts using approved communication tools.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
• Physical capability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb and perform heavier tasks with assistance.
• Professional appearance, confidentiality, and adherence to safety and security policies.
