HR and Admin Manager

About the role

This position offers an experienced HR professional the chance to manage end‑to‑end HR and administration functions for an international shipping company in Singapore. You will work closely with senior leadership while supporting employees throughout the full HR lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, onboarding, development, and off‑boarding processes.
• Provide HR guidance on employee relations, performance management and workplace policies.
• Coordinate payroll and benefits administration with internal and external partners.
• Handle work pass applications, renewals and cancellations in compliance with MOM regulations.
• Maintain HR policies, procedures and employee records in line with local legislation.
• Support learning and development initiatives and employee engagement activities.
• Prepare HR reports and deliver insights for business decision‑making.
• Act as a trusted point of contact for staff across the organisation.

Required profile

• Previous generalist HR experience covering recruitment, employee relations, performance and compliance.
• Background in shipping, maritime or logistics is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore employment and immigration regulations, including Employment Pass and S Pass management.
• Ability to take on administrative facilitation duties.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive, organised approach.
• Capable of working independently and managing multiple priorities.
