HR Assistant / Executive

About the role

Alchemist is seeking a detail‑oriented HR Assistant/Executive to support its fast‑growing multi‑outlet coffee brand across Singapore. This hands‑on generalist position will partner closely with operations to ensure smooth people processes from onboarding to off‑boarding.

Key responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll accurately using Talenox, including CPF submissions and IR21 tax clearance.
• Manage leave administration, final salary processing, and attendance data verification via Deputy.
• Own the full recruitment cycle for outlet and operations roles, from job posting to offer management.
• Facilitate new‑employee orientation and onboarding, and support work‑pass applications in line with MOM regulations.
• Maintain digital employee records, prepare HR correspondence (employment letters, promotion letters, etc.), and handle employee relations matters such as counselling and grievance handling.
• Provide first‑point HR support for queries from staff and management, and ensure proper archiving of records per PDPA requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on payroll and recruitment experience in F&B, retail, or a recruitment agency.
• Organised, meticulous and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communicator comfortable engaging at all organisational levels.
• Ability to work independently in a lean team; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
• Open to Singaporeans and Permanent Residents.
