HR Assistant / Executive (Payroll & Recruitment)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented HR Assistant/Executive to support Alchemist’s people operations across its Singapore outlets. The role will manage payroll, recruitment, onboarding and employee relations, ensuring a smooth experience for every team member from day one to each career milestone.

Key responsibilities

• Process end‑to‑end monthly payroll using Talenox, including CPF submissions and IR21 tax clearance.
• Manage leave administration, final salary processing and attendance data verification via Deputy.
• Own the full recruitment cycle for outlet and operations roles – from job posting to offer management.
• Facilitate new‑employee orientation, onboarding and work‑pass applications in line with MOM regulations.
• Maintain accurate digital employee records, prepare HR correspondence and support employee‑relations matters such as counselling and grievance handling.
• Generate attendance reports, handle pro‑family and government‑paid leave claims, and archive records according to PDPA requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on payroll and recruitment experience in F&B, retail or a recruitment agency.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence to engage with all levels of the organisation.
• Eligibility to work in Singapore (Singaporean or Permanent Resident); Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
