HR Business Partner – Assistant Manager (Healthcare)

About the role

We are partnering with a leading healthcare organisation in Singapore to hire an HR Business Partner at the Assistant Manager level. The role will act as a strategic, people‑centric advisor to clinical and corporate leaders, driving people strategies that support quality care and workforce sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business units (clinics, headquarters and other functions) to align HR strategies with operational objectives.
• Lead change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions during restructures or strategic pivots.
• Provide trusted advice to managers on complex employee relations, grievances and performance issues.
• Analyse workforce data such as attrition, engagement and productivity to deliver actionable insights.
• Collaborate with Talent Management, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition and Shared Services to enhance HR policies and processes.
• Coach managers on people‑management practices and ensure compliance with the Singapore Employment Act.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of HR experience with direct exposure to the healthcare sector (hospital, clinic, eldercare, community care or public health).
• Strong knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to build trust with stakeholders ranging from frontline managers to senior leaders.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, transformation‑ready environment and willing to work across multiple locations.
• IHRP certification is a plus.
