HR Business Partner – Singapore

About the role

The HR Business Partner – Singapore will act as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing HR guidance across the full employee lifecycle. This individual contributor role focuses on employee and labour relations, engagement, and change management while working closely with regional HR teams.

Key responsibilities

• Advise business leaders on workforce planning, employee relations, organisational effectiveness and people management.
• Manage employee and labour relations, including union partnerships, collective agreement discussions, grievance handling and workforce communications.
• Build strong relationships with frontline employees through regular site visits, focus groups and engagement activities.
• Partner with leaders to drive employee engagement, retention, performance management, talent development and succession planning.
• Support change‑management initiatives and internal communications.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore employment legislation, industrial‑relations requirements and company policies.
• Identify and mitigate people‑related risks and opportunities in collaboration with business leaders.

Required profile

• 8–10+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably supporting operational or industrial workforces.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Strong employee‑relations experience, especially in unionised environments.
• In‑depth knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and industrial‑relations practices.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment and travel regularly to operational sites.
