HR Manager – Global Expansion (Singapore)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead our global expansion efforts. Based in Singapore, you will partner with the International Business General Manager to design and implement compliant HR frameworks across target markets in Southeast Asia and North America.

Key responsibilities

• Research and enforce local labor, visa, tax, and social security regulations; set up regional compliance audits.
• Handle employee relations, labor disputes, and visa escalations to protect business continuity.
• Standardize core HR processes such as onboarding, contracts, and terminations.
• Co‑design a scalable HR architecture aligned with international growth strategy.
• Adapt global HR policies (compensation, performance, etc.) to regional nuances while maintaining global standards.
• Manage local PEO/EOR vendors and external HR outsourcing partners.
• Act as the primary liaison between regional teams and Global HQ HR, ensuring smooth policy cascade.
• Oversee cross‑border talent mobility, including expat assignments, relocations, and repatriations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, Labor Law or related field; HR certifications (IHRP, SHRM, CIPD) a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on International/Overseas HR operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws in Southeast Asia or North America.
• Proven experience setting up HR policies from scratch in overseas locations.
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin with excellent legal document review skills.
