Incident Response Analyst – Law Enforcement Operations

About the role

The Meta Legal team is looking for a motivated Incident Response Analyst to join its Law Enforcement Operations unit. You will work on time‑critical emergency escalations, evaluating threats, risks, and user privacy while coordinating with internal partners and external law‑enforcement agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess inbound emergency escalations and make immediate, well‑reasoned decisions.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external law‑enforcement partners to ensure user safety.
• Handle sensitive and potentially graphic content, including child exploitation, graphic violence, self‑injury, and suicide material.
• Respond to inquiries from law‑enforcement, government agencies, and internal stakeholders regarding incident‑response policies and processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve policies, processes, and workflows.
• Work on a rotating weekend schedule (Tuesday‑Saturday or Sunday‑Thursday).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in investigative or analytical roles involving time‑critical escalations and real‑world harm.
• Self‑starter with minimal supervision and strong independent decision‑making ability.
• Proven ability to analyze information, assess threats, and prioritize competing demands.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, adaptable to diverse stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency in analytical tools for threat assessment.
• Familiarity with AI‑driven workflow optimization and responsible AI practices.
