Incident Response Consultant – Cyber Security

About the role

As an Incident Response Consultant you will deliver industry‑leading incident response, assessment, transformation, managed detection and response, and training services. You will help organisations detect and mitigate threats, reducing business risk before, during, and after security incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and customer teams to investigate, contain, and remediate security incidents.
• Identify and document attacker tools, tactics, procedures (TTP) and indicators of compromise (IOC) for current and future investigations.
• Perform host forensics, network forensics, log analysis, and malware triage across cloud, endpoint, and network evidence.
• Support client‑facing investigations, including threat hunting and forensic analysis of cloud, endpoint, and network sources.
• Develop comprehensive reports and presentations for both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in incident response investigations, analysis, or containment actions.
• Experience in at least three of the following: network or log forensic analysis, malware triage, disk forensics, memory forensics.
• Experience in cybersecurity areas such as network security, wireless security, web application assessments, social engineering, scripting, cloud security, reverse engineering, or incident response.
• Preferred: expertise in malware triage, disk/memory forensics, enterprise security architecture, cloud incident response, and strong project management skills.
