Industrial Engineering Senior Engineer

About the role

The Senior Industrial Engineer will lead New Product Introduction (NPI) capacity planning and ensure ramp‑up readiness for high‑volume manufacturing. You will design and optimise FATP line layouts, drive lean initiatives and collaborate with automation teams to improve productivity and reduce costs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead NPI capacity planning and ramp‑up readiness activities.
• Design and optimise FATP line layouts and production flow.
• Conduct time studies, validate standard times and govern line balancing.
• Perform OEE analysis, identify bottlenecks and implement improvements.
• Lead Lean projects such as VSM, SMED and Kaizen events.
• Work with automation engineers to model headcount and quantify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Prepare financial and productivity reports and present improvement proposals to management.
• Mentor junior IE engineers.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in FATP or high‑volume manufacturing environments.
• Lean or Six Sigma certification is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and project‑management capabilities.

Required skills

• Time study, MTM, line balancing, capacity modeling, manpower optimization.
• OEE analysis and throughput improvement.
• Advanced Excel, Power BI and other data‑analysis tools.
• Knowledge of FATP processes and automation impact on labor modeling.
