About the role

The Industry Principal – Power & Utilities will join AVEVA’s global industry team to drive demand for AVEVA’s software solutions across the power and utilities sector. Leveraging deep industry expertise, you will support the salesforce with compelling value propositions and thought leadership, ensuring high customer satisfaction and consistent global delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Increase AVEVA’s market penetration and share within the power and utilities value chain.
• Build and nurture executive‑level relationships across customers and partners.
• Support sales opportunities with industry‑specific insights and expertise.
• Analyse business drivers, strategic trends and competitive threats to shape AVEVA’s response.
• Enable regional sales teams through capability building and enablement activities.
• Create value propositions, emerging use cases and collateral for AVEVA products and solutions.
• Develop and maintain industry marketing materials that support sales and marketing initiatives.
• Act as brand ambassador, leading industry events and campaigns.
• Collaborate virtually with global teams to support strategic industry sales and regional strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred; STEM background highly desired.
• Minimum 10 + years of experience in the power and utilities industry, including operations or engineering roles.
• Strong business acumen with proven executive‑level communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated success in business development and consultative selling at C‑level.
• Visionary change‑agent mindset and early adoption of technology.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 40‑60 %).
