Partner Manager – Global SME Partnerships

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a Partner Manager to lead its Global SME Partnerships programme. The role will expand the fintech ecosystem, source and evaluate new partners, negotiate reseller agreements and bring solutions to issuing banks worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and assess high‑potential fintechs that complement Mastercard’s SME value proposition across payments, credit, loyalty, data and embedded finance.
• Conduct commercial and technical evaluations, including product fit, business model, scalability, risk and operational readiness.
• Lead end‑to‑end negotiation of reseller agreements, defining commercial models, legal and compliance terms, and integration requirements.
• Collaborate with Mastercard Legal, Finance, Privacy, Data, Product and regional sales teams to secure scalable contracts.
• Act as the bridge between fintech partners and regional SME teams, supporting account managers in positioning solutions to issuing banks and structuring commercial terms.
• Develop joint value propositions, messaging and solution narratives and drive go‑to‑market execution globally.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fintech partnership or business development roles.
• Strong commercial assessment and deal‑making capabilities.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with legal, finance, product and sales stakeholders.
• Understanding of SME banking needs and payment ecosystems.
