Account Management Manager – Direct Services APAC

About the role

Based in Singapore, the Manager, Account Management for Mastercard Direct Services APAC leads a fast‑paced regional team to grow existing accounts and acquire new business across the Asia‑Pacific region. The role combines strategic account development with hands‑on commercial execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow business with MCDS accounts and prospects, meeting KPIs for GDV, net revenue and market share.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Generate and maintain a qualified sales pipeline and qualified leads.
• Own the customer P&L, including budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Execute strategic commercial deals and partnership agreements.
• Maintain detailed account plans and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Co‑create new business models, value propositions and innovative ecosystems with customers and partners.
• Identify and sell new opportunities across Mastercard’s product suite, including co‑brands, prepaid, commercial products and advisory services.
• Perform market research and assess viability of new concepts and products.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 + years experience in the issuing, acquiring or payments industry.
• Proven blend of account management and business‑development sales experience.
• Strong relationship‑building and influencing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and new sales opportunities with urgency.
• Commercially pragmatic mindset with a results‑driven attitude.
