About the role
The Information Officer role supports Singapore's Government Information Service in delivering clear, strategic communication to the public. You will help shape whole‑of‑government messaging, manage media relations and engage citizens through digital platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute whole‑of‑government communication plans.
- Manage media interactions, press releases and public consultations.
- Set e‑engagement policies and leverage emerging technologies for public outreach.
- Collaborate with various government agencies, including postings within MDDI.
Required profile
- At least 2 years of experience in media analytics, public relations, communications, journalism or a related field (fresh graduates are also welcome).
- High social and political sensitivity with strong interpersonal and writing abilities.
- Bilingual in English and one of Singapore’s other official languages is an advantage.
- Ability to multitask and manage projects effectively.
