Information Technology Consultant

About the role

The role provides production support and manages Business‑As‑Usual (BAU) operations for virtual infrastructure environments. You will ensure availability, stability, security and cost‑efficiency of VMware/ESXi platforms while supporting application and platform engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support HPE servers, HPE OneView, server provisioning, hardware monitoring and firmware management.
• Monitor infrastructure health, performance, capacity and availability using VMware monitoring tools.
• Support VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, HA and DRS environments.
• Handle Incident, Problem, Change and Service Request processes following ITIL practices.
• Perform routine health checks, preventive maintenance, capacity planning and operational reporting.
• Implement VMware security hardening, compliance controls and vulnerability remediation.
• Develop operational documentation, SOPs, runbooks and automate tasks with PowerShell/PowerCLI.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience managing and supporting VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS and virtual infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across VM, host, cluster, storage, networking and hardware.
• Experience with patching, firmware upgrades and lifecycle management for VMware and supporting hardware.
• Senior‑level professional comfortable working in a fast‑paced production environment.

What we offer

• Contract role with a monthly salary range of SGD 5,500 – SGD 8,250
