About the role
The Infrastructure Advisor supports Phillips 66’s Singapore commodity trading and market analysis teams by providing timely, accurate intelligence on refinery and petrochemical infrastructure across Asia and key global markets. The role blends market research, data analysis, and collaboration with traders to translate operational changes into commercial insights.
Key responsibilities
- Track planned and unplanned turnarounds, outages, maintenance events, and restart timing for refineries and petrochemical plants, focusing on crude distillation and secondary units in Asia.
- Update internal tracking systems and global databases with the latest operating status, unit‑level disruptions, and return‑to‑service information.
- Maintain and improve infrastructure databases by reconciling external reports, internal data sets, and market intelligence sources.
- Validate infrastructure updates with traders and desk analysts, challenge assumptions, and assess commercial significance.
- Monitor refinery and secondary unit margins, linking operational changes to economics, utilization, and market behavior.
- Support digitalization and automation of tracking workflows, leveraging coding skills and large data‑set handling.
Required profile
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work closely with traders, desk analysts, and market contacts.
- Comfort with large data sets and automated workflow development.

- Coding/programming skills for data automation.
