Intern - Logistics Coordinator

About the role

Labcorp is looking for an Intern - Logistics Coordinator to join its Logistics Singapore team, part of the Asia-Pacific Logistics function which also has teams in Japan and China. The internship runs from January to June 2027, is full-time and onsite, and is paid. Selected interns support the team in designing and implementing digital solutions that improve logistics visibility, automate processes and reduce manual effort across countries and transportation providers, using Microsoft 365 technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate shipment tracking data from multiple courier reports into a central repository and find ways to remove manual data entry.
• Build automated data transformation workflows with Excel Power Query to clean and standardize logistics data.
• Develop Excel VBA solutions for data collection, validation, report generation and stakeholder notifications.
• Create automated data quality checks and exception handling to improve reporting accuracy.
• Design and maintain business intelligence reports and Power BI dashboards showing shipment visibility, performance metrics, trends and exceptions.
• Analyze mailbox processes and communication workflows, then build Power Automate flows to categorize, route and track requests and to generate automated emails.
• Measure and report productivity gains and process efficiencies from the automation work.

Required profile

• Current enrollment in a Supply Chain, Logistics, Data Science/Analytics, Automation or AI-related bachelor's degree program; other degrees may be considered.
• Final-year students graduating in July/August 2027 are preferred.
• Comfortable working remotely from home most of the time.
• Good organization, multitasking, communication and problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach.

Preferred qualifications

• Able to organize data and documents effectively.
• Experience using automation tools to streamline business processes.
• Good communication with project managers and transportation vendors.
