Intern, Network Sector Coverage

About the role

ING's Wholesale Bank Asia internship programme (2027) offers a 6-month placement in its Network Sector Coverage team, based in Singapore. The team covers local corporate clients and Asian subsidiaries of European and American multinationals, offering products such as trade finance, financing, financial markets and working capital solutions. The intern works closely with relationship managers to promote business in Singapore and across ING's Global Network.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare briefings and presentations for client meetings together with product partners
• Take part in internal and external meetings and provide follow-up support
• Help prepare business reports and portfolio analyses
• Research industries and new client prospects
• Support the execution and delivery of transactions, including KYC onboarding
• Support ad-hoc projects

Required profile

• 2nd to final year undergraduate student interested in banking and finance
• Highly inquisitive, willing to learn and attentive to detail
• Good time management and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication in English

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint is an added advantage
• Experience or skills in AI, data analytics or related technologies is an advantage
