Intern - Operations

About the role

RTX is looking for an Operations intern based onsite in Singapore. The intern supports the Operations department in day-to-day tasks, including manpower planning, process improvement and standard work, and works alongside EH&S and QA teams on continuous improvement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Cell Leaders in day-to-day manpower planning and output execution.
• Conduct time studies and provide analytical recommendations for process improvement.
• Develop Standard Work for deliverables for each shift.
• Help create visual factory improvements at cell level to drive efficiency and productivity.
• Improve workflows and streamline processes in the Operations department.
• Take part in cross-functional continuous improvement projects with EH&S and QA.
• Support the Operations department with day-to-day tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma or undergraduate degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Materials Engineering or a related field.
• Keen interest in understanding the Aerospace MRO industry.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Data analytics skills with various software are a plus.

Learning outcomes include exposure to the Aerospace MRO industry, engine center and component repair, manufacturing, continuous improvement tools (CORE), and operations planning and management.
