International M&A Lawyer

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing Japanese‑based international law firm, is looking for an experienced International M&A Lawyer to join its Singapore office. The role offers exposure to sophisticated cross‑border transactions and a clear partnership‑track career progression within a collaborative, global environment.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on complex, cross‑border M&A transactions across Asia, the US, Europe and other major jurisdictions.
• Draft, review and negotiate documentation for acquisitions, joint ventures and disposals.
• Collaborate with colleagues in global offices on multi‑jurisdictional mandates.
• Provide strategic input on deal structuring, due diligence and regulatory considerations.
• Support business development activities, including client pitches and thought‑leadership initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer in the US, UK, Australia or another common‑law jurisdiction.
• 5+ years post‑qualification experience with strong exposure to cross‑border M&A transactions.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑jurisdictional deal structures.
