International Sales Engineer – Remote (Singapore)

About the role

Silvus Technologies, part of Motorola Solutions, is seeking an International Sales Engineer to work closely with the Sales, Marketing and Business Development teams. The engineer provides tailored solutions to customers through technical sales, demonstrations and support of Silvus' multi-antenna MIMO radio and mesh networking products. The role reports to the Director of Sales Engineering and is 100% remote, with candidates required to be based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including system planning, customer training and system optimization.
• Become an expert on the operation and application of Silvus' radio and networking solutions.
• Prepare and conduct product demonstrations for customer visits and equipment evaluations.
• Visit customer sites to give technical support and training, and troubleshoot field failures.
• Analyze field failures, give feedback to the development team, and help design engineers reproduce and fix problems.
• Help drive future product development and take part in resource allocation and hardware maintenance.
• Travel up to 50% of the time for meetings, events and demonstrations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, plus 2 years of pre- and post-sales technical support experience; or secondary education with at least 6 years of such experience.
• Basic proficiency in English (reading and writing).
• Must be based in Singapore and willing to travel to potential conflict areas in support of radios.
• Background check required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with radio frequency instruments such as signal generators and spectrum analyzers.
• Preferred: experience with IP radios/modems, familiarity with Linux, TCP/IP and wireless communication systems, and C/C++.
