IT Business Analyst (Product Owner) - Transport & Distribution

About the role

A company in the Transport & Distribution industry based in Singapore is looking for a Product Owner to oversee technology initiatives and ensure product development aligns with business goals. This is a permanent position offering the chance to manage projects that drive innovation and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements, turning stakeholder needs into clear product initiatives and roadmap priorities.
• Manage the product backlog by creating detailed user stories, defining acceptance criteria and working with development teams throughout delivery.
• Facilitate product discovery, process analysis and solution design workshops to find opportunities for operational improvement.
• Coordinate UAT, validate delivered features against requirements and support release readiness and implementation.
• Monitor product performance through KPIs and user feedback to drive continuous improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, Business Analysis or related digital transformation projects.
• Hands-on experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, user story writing, backlog prioritisation and acceptance criteria definition.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC.
• Business process analysis, UAT, system integration and product life-cycle management.
