IT Security Officer

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated IT Security Officer to protect our digital assets and ensure robust security protocols across the organization. The role involves proactive risk management, vendor coordination, and delivering security awareness within a fast‑paced office environment in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Manage security vendors and deliverables.
• Conduct periodic security testing and assess mitigation effectiveness.
• Review security reports, policies, standards, procedures and guidelines.
• Provide cybersecurity consultancy and respond to security alerts and advisories.
• Handle security incidents and conduct security awareness training.
• Broadcast email security advisories.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or related field.
• 4‑7 years of experience as a cybersecurity analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, Windows and Linux operating systems, and cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency with vulnerability scanners, penetration testing tools and SIEM platforms.
• Experience scripting with Python or PowerShell for automation.
• Familiarity with NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• CISSP and/or CISM certification required.
