IT Support Intern

About the role

ShopBack is seeking a tech‑savvy IT Support Intern to join its Workplace Technology team. You will be the first point of contact for employees experiencing technical issues and will help set up and run audiovisual (AV) systems for Town Halls and internal events. This six‑month, full‑time internship offers hands‑on experience in corporate IT operations, device management, and live‑event support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support via Slack, Jira, or walk‑ins and log tickets in Jira Service Management.
• Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and network problems.
• Configure laptops, peripherals, and user accounts for new hires, especially in Singapore.
• Maintain accurate IT asset and inventory records.
• Document change requests and support change‑management activities in Jira.
• Set up and operate AV equipment (microphones, projectors, cameras, sound systems) for hybrid Town Halls and meetings.
• Conduct pre‑event checks and post‑event wrap‑ups, and support Zoom and Google Meet tools.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree, diploma or higher Nitec in Information Technology or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with Workplace and Facilities teams.
