Java Application Developer

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Java Application Developer to design, develop, and maintain backend applications using the Spring Boot framework. You will collaborate with a cross‑functional team to deliver new projects, enhance existing systems, and support production environments, with a focus on high‑quality code and reliable delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test new features and reusable components based on technical specifications.
• Participate in requirement gathering and translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
• Produce technical documentation, including design documents, specifications, and unit test plans.
• Support integration, user acceptance testing, and provide application support during pre‑ and post‑production deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, perform log analysis, and collaborate with support teams.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications, including bug fixes and performance improvements.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience covering the full SDLC for Java applications.
• Proactive team player comfortable in a fast‑paced environment, able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Java and server‑side Java technologies.
• Spring framework, especially Spring Boot.
• Micro‑services architecture, REST, web services, SOA.
• Linux environment.
• Message Queue (Solace).
• MySQL, SSL, JSON.
• Version control and CI/CD tools: Git, Jenkins.
• Project tracking: JIRA.
• Experience with payment systems and cryptography algorithms is a plus.
