Java/Spring Back-end Developer

About the role

We're seeking an experienced Java Developer with DevOps and infrastructure knowledge to join a Data Centre Migration project for a banking customer. The role focuses on building and maintaining high‑performance back‑end services and ensuring reliable deployment pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java‑based applications and microservices using Spring Boot.
• Design, implement and monitor logging, alerting, and observability systems.
• Ensure security best practices throughout development and deployment cycles.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, test and production environments.
• Collaborate with software engineers, QA analysts and product teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.

Required profile

• 7+ years of overall experience in Java development.
• Strong backend expertise in microservices, multithreading, concurrency and low‑latency systems.
• Good understanding of deployment processes, server management, containerization (Kubernetes, Podman) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
