Job Skills Analyst (Manager/Senior Manager) – RAD

About the role

The SkillsFuture Singapore Data Analytics Unit (SWDA) is hiring a Job Skills Analyst (Manager or Senior Manager) to develop Jobs-Skills Insights that help stakeholders make informed decisions on jobs and skills matters. The role engages stakeholders, studies business operations, technology deployments and value chains, and produces timely, actionable insights that support policy, planning, signposting and tools for skills and workforce development. It is a contract position until 30 December 2028.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research on in-demand, emerging and future jobs and skills, using business, labour and job market intelligence and the NJSI engine
• Analyse large datasets with Python and SQL, applying statistical methods such as regression analysis, and visualise results with tools like Tableau
• Synthesise findings into Jobs-Skills Insights for policy and planning, public awareness campaigns, and tools for intermediaries
• Engage individuals, enterprises, education providers and policymakers, set indicators and measure effectiveness
• Distribute insights through suitable channels and use feedback to continuously improve them

Required profile

• Manager: up to 3 years of relevant experience; those with no experience but involved in relevant projects may apply
• Senior Manager: at least 6 years of relevant experience
• Strong analytical thinking, quantitative and qualitative research, and ability to turn complex insights into clear narratives
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well with diverse stakeholders

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data extraction, preparation and processing
• Statistical analysis, especially regression and forecasting
• Data visualisation tools such as Tableau
