Junior Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our security team. In this role you will help protect our IT environment by deploying security agents, supporting projects and collaborating with vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure security agents across endpoints and servers.
• Assist in the implementation of IT security projects and initiatives.
• Participate in user acceptance testing and recovery drills.
• Coordinate with external vendors to perform security assessments and apply remediation.
• Provide day‑to‑day support for security tools and platforms.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security or a related field.
• Willingness to learn and work in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) environment.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Security‑related certifications are a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing).
• Good understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts.
