Junior Java Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Java Software Engineer to join the Core Banking IT department of Crédit Agricole CIB in Singapore. The team develops and maintains the International Back Office Cash Management System used by 25 business units worldwide. You will work on new features, enhancements and production support in a multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and test Java‑based components and React front‑end modules according to functional specifications.
• Participate in the full software lifecycle, including planning, roll‑out, and production support.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, technical leads and fellow developers to produce high‑quality code.
• Write technical specifications, unit tests, code reviews and integration documentation.
• Assist in functional, user‑acceptance and non‑functional testing, and provide post‑production issue resolution.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in web or stand‑alone application design and development.
• Ability to analyse user needs and translate them into robust software solutions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in a multicultural setting.

Required skills

• Java (latest versions and related frameworks).
• React for front‑end development.
