Junior Legal Counsel

About the role
We are seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to join a regional manufacturing company with operations across Asia. The role will work closely with commercial teams, providing day‑to‑day legal support on a variety of commercial matters and helping to mitigate legal risk.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate distributor, maintenance, service contracts and NDAs.
- Partner with business stakeholders to deliver commercially‑focused legal advice.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with key commercial initiatives.
- Develop legal training programmes and improve template libraries and internal processes.
- Manage disputes and claims involving customers, suppliers and other external parties.
Required profile
- Admission to the Singapore Bar.
- 2‑3 years of post‑qualification experience in private practice or an in‑house legal role.
- Strong experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Excellent commercial acumen, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
