Junior Software Engineer – Remote to Singapore

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join a leading global technology company. The position starts remotely and moves to Singapore once the work permit is approved (15‑30 days). This is a long‑term contract role offering exposure to cutting‑edge technologies and a collaborative, diverse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, secure, reusable, and reliable code.
• Develop cross‑platform solutions and ensure portability.
• Apply continuous technical excellence, good design practices, and reduce complexity.
• Write test automation and support frequent incremental releases via a CD pipeline.
• Refactor, optimise, and enhance existing code, algorithms, and services.
• Promote sound engineering design, process, and quality practices.

Required profile

• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Ability to write clean, professional code with good design.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• High attention to detail and experience working in large code bases.

Required skills

• Strong experience with C++, Rust, or Go (any).
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with Windows and Linux environments.
• Familiarity with CMake, NuGet, Git, GitHub.
• CI/CD using Jenkins and automated deployment.
• Cloud services experience, especially AWS.
