Junior Sustainability Communications Specialist (12‑Month Contract)

About the role

Our client is looking for a Junior Sustainability Communications Specialist to join the Singapore Center of Excellence for Sustainability. The role bridges technical R&D, product development, marketing, compliance and communications, turning complex sustainability data into clear business narratives.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the subject‑matter expert for sustainability messaging across home and office product portfolios.
• Partner with R&D, product, engineering and marketing teams to identify innovations and craft compelling narratives for campaigns, sales enablement, internal communications and events.
• Develop, review and maintain accurate sustainability claims, ensuring they are substantiated with technical evidence.
• Monitor competitor communications, industry regulations and market trends to keep messaging current and differentiated.
• Create and manage a centralized library of approved claims, supporting documents and audience‑specific content for global stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree or background in Marketing, Communications, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business or a related field.
• Understanding of sustainability concepts such as energy efficiency, circular economy, sustainable materials and environmental certifications.
• Comfortable analysing technical documentation and translating it into concise, audience‑friendly messages.
