Key Account Manager - Distribution

About the role

Sika (Singapore) Pte Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sika AG, manufactures, trades and supplies specialty construction chemicals for the building and construction industry. The Key Account Manager (Distribution) develops and manages strategic relationships with assigned key distributors, retailers, dealers and trade partners to grow sales, profitability and market penetration while strengthening customer loyalty. The role works closely with Marketing, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Technical Service and Product Management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual business plans, build relationships with key decision makers and act as the single point of contact for assigned accounts
• Deliver annual sales, margin and collection targets, increase wallet share through cross-selling and upselling, and expand product listings and SKU penetration
• Negotiate contracts and rebates, manage pricing, discounts and trading terms, and forecast demand with customers
• Develop partnerships with major distributors and retail chains, support national campaigns and explore e-commerce channels
• Work with Supply Chain, Technical Service and Product Managers, and coordinate customer issue resolution
• Maintain customer records, opportunities and forecasts in Salesforce, prepare monthly performance reviews and provide market intelligence

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of sales or account management experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Sales experience in the construction materials industry is an added advantage
