About the role
Birkenstock is seeking a Key Account Manager (m/f/d) to act as the primary contact for assigned accounts, driving revenue growth and maintaining strong client relationships across the region.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for account-specific matters and nurture client relationships.
- Achieve or exceed revenue, volume, and average selling price targets.
- Develop and implement regional marketing plans in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.
- Segment channels and work closely with the Merchandising Manager.
- Ensure timely product delivery and manage payment collections with support from Customer Service.
- Plan and execute store expansions and upgrades aligned with company goals.
- Oversee visual merchandising to meet brand standards.
- Conduct monthly partner reviews to assess performance and alignment.
- Provide regular management reports on sell‑in, sell‑out, and inventory.
- Collaborate with the Head of Sales SEA & Down Under to identify growth opportunities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in apparel or consumer goods.
- Strong project management, strategic planning and research abilities.
- Proactive team player with excellent stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills.
- Results‑driven, hands‑on mentality, intercultural competence and passion for retail and footwear.
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
Required skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with SAP (MM/SD modules) – advantageous.
