About the role
A small, cozy café in Singapore is looking for a Kitchen Crew / Western Café Cook. The team is tight-knit and values quality, consistency, initiative and creativity. The position is full-time.
Key responsibilities
- Responsible for all food preparation and kitchen operations
- Perform basic food prep, ingredient handling and knife work
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ensure food quality and consistency
- Assist in menu development and creation of new dishes
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team for smooth daily operations
Required profile
- Experience in a café or Western-style kitchen preferred
- Passionate about cooking and open to creating new dishes
- Team player with good communication skills
- Responsible, cooperative and positive attitude
Required skills
- Basic food preparation and knife skills
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
