KYC Reviewer – Compliance Analyst

About the role

Avensys is seeking a diligent KYC Reviewer to perform second‑level assessments of customer information and source‑of‑wealth documentation. The role supports the compliance function by ensuring that all KYC and Statement of Work (SoW) reviews meet regulatory standards and internal quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct second‑level review of KYC and SoW assessments for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Validate the plausibility and coherence of Source of Wealth narratives and supporting evidence.
• Confirm that risk ratings, customer profiles, and red‑flag indicators are correctly identified and addressed.
• Summarise and escalate high‑risk or unclear cases to the Anti‑Money Laundering Officer (AMLO) with appropriate recommendations.
• Maintain quality‑assurance records and support internal audit readiness.
• Provide constructive feedback to L1/L2 reviewers to improve quality and consistency.

Required profile

• Experience performing second‑level KYC reviews or similar compliance assessments.
• Familiarity with source‑of‑wealth documentation and risk‑rating methodologies.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential red‑flags.
• Capability to summarise findings and communicate recommendations to senior compliance staff.
